Joint pain is sometimes called arthralgia. Joint pain can be mild, causing some soreness each time you move your joints, and it can impact one or more joints. Joint pain strikes people of all ages and activity levels, and if not properly treated or dealt with, typically gets progressively worse. Joint pain can be cause from injury, stress from overuse, disease, degeneration, fractures, tendon or ligament tears, pulls, strains, or sprains, steroid withdrawal, tumors, or cartilage damage.
